SENIOR CONSULTANT
As an HR professional for over 20 years, Michelle has a strong generalist background and practical experience in many facets of people leadership and culture development. Her work experience is well-rounded, but Michelle is particularly energized by Organizational Development strategy and execution. Using her ‘roll-up-the-sleeves’ approach to getting results, she partners with leaders and employees across the business to identify opportunities and recommend timely, cost-effective, real-world solutions.
Michelle collaborates with business partners to explore strategies aimed at attracting talent aligned with the organization’s values and programs that support them on their journey with the company. She identifies potential roadblocks to engagement, implements programs that reduce turnover, and influences employee thinking so that the connection between their day-to-day contributions and the company’s performance is clear.
Michelle is a University of Waterloo alum and post-graduate of the Human Resources Management program at Conestoga College. She obtained her CHRL (Certified HR Leader) designation and is a member of the HRPA.
When not working on her laptop with her German Shepherd at her feet, Michelle can be found in her garden at home or walking the Lake Huron shoreline, imagining the design and build of a DIY, mostly off-grid family cabin.
